BIG NEWS!

Zach is going to be a big brother!!!

We are so thrilled with the news:) and can't wait for the new arrival. We found out the good news at the end of October, but managed somehow to keep it a secret until around Eric's birthday. We told our parents first who were beyond excited and surprised too.....and then told the rest of the family when we saw them for Thanksgiving....Everyone else will find out from Xmas cards, here or word of mouth.

So far i am due in July. July 8th 2009 to be exact-which is great because it fits right in with my family's side of dates..for example....Our wedding anniversary is 8-6-04...Natalie got married 6-7-08.....my cousin got married 10-9-08....it goes on....So this new baby is going to fit right in;)

I haven't been feeling the best and am actually now on a morning sickness medicine that is making me feel so much better!! it was a bit of a run around with my insurance, but the hard work was worth feeling much better!! I'm hoping that maybe i'll start to feel better on my own in the next few weeks and not need the medication much longer.....

Eric says he wants to find out what we are having, but i am not so sure this time. We'll have to hammer this one out a bit longer and see who wins:) We have pictures of the latest ultrasound that i will try to get scanned in here soon.

In other news we are getting very excited for our trip out to Denver next week. Aunt Amy and Uncle Justin have been hard at work prepping for our arrival. Grammy and Grampy are going with us too! We are hoping for good news at Grammy's dr's appt this week about her leg. We are hoping she can get the pin taken out so she won't be as fragile and a bit more able to do things. We'll still make sure she lays low and doesn't attempt to go skiing! HAHA! We still have lots to get done before we go.

WOW! its December already!

Where did the rest of November go?

We had a wonderful Thanksgiving and hope you all did too! We have much to be thankful for this year. Eric and I both are healthy and have our jobs....We have wonderful friends and family who are always there for us, and we have the best son in the world!! What more could we ask for?!

Thanksgiving was a pretty busy day for us....We started out with lunch at my parents house...and stuffed our faces there.....Had fun visiting with relatives and playing Uno! Then after Zach got a little nap in we headed to Grandma Lily and Grandpa Hugh's house for dinner and managed to stuff even more food into our bellies...Zach ate more turkey for dinner than he did for lunch so that made me happy! He also really enjoyed the fruit dessert and pumpkin pie:) We stayed and visited and Zach played with some new xmas gifts from Aunt Pam and Uncle Don.....They got Zach 3 new Thomas the Train accessories plus Harrold the Helicopter....and Zach hasn't stopped playing with them since....What a great gift!!!

We headed home and I got ready for bed!! I needed to be up at 245am in order to be at work by 345am! Kohls opened at 4am on Black Friday....I had to work 9hrs too....The morning started out slowly, but then after eating my lunch at 9am the time just flew by! We weren't as busy as last year, but we were still pretty busy.....Everyone was friendly and it really wasn't that bad of a day.

Now here it is December already and soon we will start getting packed for our trip out West to visit Aunt Amy and Uncle Justin! We are soo excited!!! We will be driving out there with Grammy and Grampy Ferguson.....

I think this weekend we will try to get our tree put up and the outside lights too....Time to get Zach excited and Eric and I into the holiday spirit!!
